Humbo is located
about 10 kilometers outside of Sodo.
The road is good - it is about a 10-15 minute drive.
We were greeted by
over 100 children singing and presenting us with gifts. It was the first time this had ever happened
- but at the same time - God planned this for confirmation of Pastor Raju whose
interest lies with ministering to children.
The sessions were
attended by 87 people. With the rural
nature of this training - about half of the people struggled with the
Head/Heart/Hand concept. They
understood … but struggled implementing it in their presentations.
Boditi was located about 15-18 killometers outside of Sodo. There was an amazing group of people there for training.
The love of the Word of God is deep amoung the Ethiopian People - many have read the Bible from cover to cover numerous times, however they struggle to find practical application from God's Word. That is why God has sent us to them - to provide this skill so they can teach their people.
On the Road to Boditi
Worship is passionate, participatory and personal. It is a joy to worship with those that love God with all their heart.
Pastor Wogene and Pastor Raju
Aereka is the final place we trained in the Sodo Region. This was also an amazing training and also a base in which Pastor Raju will be returning for extended ministry with children, youth and homeless.
The BUZZZZZ cut that I get before each trip is always an object of interest with children. Budda has a belly to rub - I have a buzzed head!
There was an overflow crown of over 120 in Aereka from several of the churches in the area. Some Church leaders walked from several kilometers to attend the training.
