Report on Trip to Muslim Territory in Ethiopia

We had a very fruitful trip to Kombolcha and Dessie Ethiopia.

Dessie is in the Mountains of North East of Ethiopia.  The weather was cool in the evenings and somewhat bearable in the days!  We trained approximately 85-90 Teachers/Pastors/Leaders/Evangelists from 13 Churches representing 11 different denominations.

Kombolcha is about 12-13 miles away from Dessie - all downhill!   Komblcha was much warmer and not nearly as breezy as Dessie was.   We trained between 95-100 Teachers/Pastors/Leaders/Evangelists from 11 Churches representing 9 different denominations.

We were scheduled to do an additional training in Hayak, a small village about 20 miles outside of Dessie.  Several months ago we were asked if we would travel out to help a small church in a overwhelmingly Muslim village.  Even though it the church had only 30-40 people and we would probably be training 10-15 Leaders, we agreed.  However, when we arrived in Dessie, we were told by the church leadership that it would be better for all if we did not come and do the training.   After praying/thinking we agreed.  Please keep this group of believers in your prayers.
