August 2017 - Agaro - Serbo - Shebe Region

85-90 Pastors/Evangelists/Church Leaders were at the two-day training in Agaro Ethiopia to learn how to better understand and communicate Gods Word to their people. In the past 2 years we have trained over 4000 from over 475 churches and 29 denominations! But there is still work to be done!!! 

There were between 85-90 Pastors/Teachers/Church Leaders from 6 Churches in Agaro Ethiopia that gathered to learn how to better understand and communicate God's Word to their people. Communicating God's Word by asking of a Passage of Scripture: What Does it Say to You Mind (What does it Mean); What Does It Say to You Heart (What is your response to God); What Does It Say to Your Hands (What Does God Want You To Do) are all part of the training.

We had a great training in Serbo - in the Jima Region of Ethiopia. 85 Church leaders -some traveling as far as 20 kilometers - came to learn how to better understand and communicate Gods Word with their people. Now the real challenge begins .... me getting back home to Houston!!!

Our second training session in Shebe was fantastic! Evangelical Christians make up 0.04% of the 2.6 million people in the Jima Region. It was an honor to train these Pastors and Church Leaders how to better understand and communicate Gods Word with their people!

The road is full of twist and turns - pot holes and rocks - but the people are amazing in Agaro. This is the hour and a half trip we took each day as we left Jima to travel to Agaro equipping church leaders how to more effectively study and communicate God's Word to their Churches.
